The spring at top of pedal broke. My clutch will only work if I engage it quickly. Once I take my foot off it, It builds right back up. There are no fluid leaks and the reservoir is still full. I purchased a new spring from the dealer but can't find info on how to remove old and install new. What I need to know is if the problem will resolve with the new spring or is there more problems, such as a slave cylinder or other thing that caused the break? The clutch was recently replaced so I am hoping they just used the same spring and it wore out. Can you provide instructions on how-to put the spring on and/or if that will fix the problem? Thanks

The spring will either have a notch or hole to go in on both ends. But I don't hink that is your problem. It may be a slave cylinder or a bent fork that operates the throwout bearing. YOu'll have to check both.
