I have changed the fuel pump, and the sparkplugs and wires, and every little thing that I could think of. The car runs great but every now and then something locks up and the car stalls. It'll start back up, but once I shift it into gear it stalls again and won't go anywhere. I believe it's the torque converter in the transmissoin, but I'm not sure. If so, what do I have to do to replace it?

First try choke cleaner an dclean the throttle plate on both sides as well as the hole for idle air control. Then haveyour transmissino checked by a pro if it still does it. Replacing a converter only at your mileage and adding new fluid will certainly eat the clutches up in yourtrans misssion. Try that.
