I have a 2000 cavalier z24 with 115000 km's. I've been having problems starting it when it rains and now the car won't start at all. The lights work but when I turn the key it makes no noise. I thouhght it might be the fuse so I changed it but as soon as it made contact it burned out. I tried 3 times with the same result. What could be the problem?

First try this. Turn on your head lights, do it while it is dark or have someone watch, turn key to start position, If lights go out then clean you battery post, and battery cable clamps. If the lights stay on and bright then it could be your starter sol. On the starter, or bad starter. Check all connections to see that they are making good contact.
Hope this helps
good luck
