I have recently had a problem with my car stalling out when I am ready to stop. I took it to get worked on and they replaced a few things that had not been changed since the car was manufactured. They claimed it could be the transmission if it occours again. Its been about 4 weeks so far its been okay but, i am still puzzled by the vehicles RPM. I feel when its idling, its too low. If someone can tell me whats considered to low that would be great. Also what things should I look out for if my transmission was going?
more about my car.... It has 100,000 miles on it, 146 cid/2392 cc engine

hi
there is no idle adjustment on your vehicle , if there is a problem with a computer controlled component controlling the idle the check engine light will come on , and as far as the transmission , just check the fluid once in a while it should be red and not smell burned , hope this helps ease your mind
