My girlfriend's daughter has a 1997 Cavalier, 2.2L, Automatic, has a little over 100,000 miles. While driving down the road it will randomly die. Doesn't seem to be any consistent thing happening. Sometimes does it running 45-55, other times while stopping and other times while taking off. Usually has to sit for a few minutes before it will restart. Runs fine other than the random dying. The check eninge light is not on and the code scanner shows that everything is fine. Has a new fuel filter, new plugs and new wires. I am at a loss since it doesn't do it regularly and I haven't had it happen yet while I'm driving. Has happened to my girlfriend and both daughters though at all different driving conditions.
