1995 Chevy Cavalier light on dash

I just bought a 1995 Chevy Cavalier. I've had it for 10 days. A light on my dashboard just came on today. It looks like a battery light with a wavey line at the bottom and 1 round circle at the top. It is not the battery light though. Car didn't come with a owners manual. What is this light?

That sounds like a low coolant light. First I would check if your coolant overflow has a coolant sensor mounted to it. It will be near the bottom of the tank with 2 wires going to it.

Check your coolant level.
