My brake lights work perfectly fine during the day. Night time when all of my lights are on, When I hit the break it turns off my brake lights instead of going on.

I have done the following:
1) switched out the break switch
2)Chaged out all of the light bulbs front and rear
3) switched out my flasher relays
4)switched out the break sockets where break light bulbs goes in.

Have you checked the turn signal multi funtion switch? If not you should as this can be a problem. Let me know if you have a digital mutli meter and we can test it but you will have to disable the air bag system.

It could have a bad ground or a crossed wire, If you have already changed the sockets what you can do after you check to ground is cut 1 wire at a time at the connection you made and then reconect it and go to the next 1. If you cut a wire and the problem goes away or changes then its wired wrong. It does sound like its in the rear but in the newer cars with all the electronics its hard to tell. Good Luck, Rod
