I have had this car since it was new and have never had heat.I have had it in many times over this and was told it was a vapour lock. I think I had heat one winter out of 14 years. I can't even drive it in the winter as the windows dont clear and I freeze my butt off. A big V8 should be kicking big heat. This is the only problem I have with this car. Help!

Vapor lock, that's insane.

With the engine at full operating temp, locate the 2 heater hoses where they go into the firewall and feel them to see if they are both hot to the touch. If they are.

The temperature is controlled by the use of an air mix door that is operated by an electric motor/actuator. This door can be jammed or the actuator can be inoperative or have stripped plastic gears internally.

I've been doing this 40 years and never in my life heard of a cooling system vapor locking. That's a term used many years ago. It would happen to fuel lines. If it has an air pocket, which he may be referring to, there will be a reason for it.
