I have a 1994 camaro, when I start to drive it will begin to over heat. When the temperature gauge goes up it will raise and fall for a little while then shoots up to the top and over heats. We have replaced the radiator and all the hoses, would the thermostat be my best bet what do you think?

Yeah I think your best bet is to replace the thermostat. Also check and see if your radiator cooling fan is coming on. Thos switches go bad sometimes and dont kick in at the right time. Look and see if the fan runs at all. If it does try changing the thermostat. If it dont run. Replace the cooling fan switch. Good luck :)
