1994 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am trying to help my god son his 1994 camero has a leak and has been over heating he was told that the timing belt cover gasket is where his leak is I have never heard of such a thing does this have anything to do with antifreeze leaking?Has anyone got any knowledge of this?

His water pump is probably inside his timing chain cover, if you dont see it inline with the drive belts then, thats where it is, there are also coolant ports inside the timing cover that are kept from leaking by o gaskets and if those are shot then that will cause a leak in itself, even if the water pump isnt inside of the cover
