1991 Chevy Camaro Two Wheel Drive Automatic 36,000 miles

when I step on the brake at a stop my car stalls and I can start it up right away and drive it happends off and on to me and idles funny to sometimes I switched the iac with another car it does the same it I take off hose vacum to brake it runs fine but don't have power brakes then

Either the booster diaphram is faulty or the vac. Check valve that hose attaches is faulty. Do you hear a hissing sound whene applying brakes? If so booster is bad. If you pull hose off car not running you should hear bvac. Escaping, if not valve bad.
