Unfortunately, I can't really give you an accurate diagnosis with so little information. If you'd like to purchase an automotive stethoscope, I'll be glad to walk you through the steps to track down the source of your noise.

Because this could very well be your timing chain, but it could also be your lifters, accessory belts, a/c clutch, alternator, etc.

So I don't want to mislead you with guesses. That'll only cost you time and money. Sorry.
