my buddy car wont start he said it is fuel injected I almost dont believe him but back around christmas he fired it up with starting fuild and it ran get but he went to drive it again but when he sprayed starting fuild it caught on fire and wont crank I am going to go look but I would like to go into it with some knowledge any body got any ideas thank you

It sounds like a timing issue or valve problem if it is catching on fire. It had to back fire through the intake. I would start by checking timing and then engine compression to see if there is a low cylender.
