1987 Chevy Camaro 5.7 TPI will not start without being prim

Will not start without being primed. After getting started will run until shutoff for a length of time. Things I already replaced and checked are fuel pressure which was 47lbs. Fuel filter, coil, distributor, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, maf sensor

You should check the fuel pressure when the car won't start. Some times even though you have fuel pressure you do not have fuel volume. Also you should check the fuel pump relay for proper operation. It should turn the fuel pump on for 2 seconds when the key is turned to on. If you turn the engine over the crankshaft sensor will keep the fuel pump running.
