I own a 2001 Blazer and last week I went to get in it and it completely died. As if the battery was disconnected. It didn't die until I turned the key. I towed it to a shop and they told me that I had some sort of coolant leak and they had to replace the battery and all the battery cables. $350 later I drove out of there. It's now been a week and I came home from work last night and it did the same thing when I turned off the blazer. Completely dead. Someone mentioned something about a fuse box (er something) that is connected to the battery that might have been blown. Any Ideas?

There is a fusible "link" that connects to the back of the alternator and if these "blow" the motor will die and will not start. I replace mine with regular inline fuses so I can replace the fuses instead of replacing the wire when it "blows"
