Heater problem
2000 Chevy Blazer 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my heat works when i drive and when i stop it turns to cold.then when i start to drive picks back up heat again.recently i had antifreeze put in but now it takes forever for the heat to kick in when i'm driving at all.what do I do

I had a similar problem but it was a 86 blazer. I put a high temp. thermostat in during winter months. I think it was a 225. I also had two different fan clutches. I used. I used a heavy duty one in the summer months and I guess you would call it a standard fan clutch in the winter. When it got real cold I had half of the radiator blocked off on the front side. It helped me.
