My car has had a lot of work done to it within the last couple years. I had my transmission replaced and just this summer I had my radiator replaced. Currently my car is not putting out heat.. The air blowing out is cool however when the gas pedal is pushed it gets a little warmer. I put some antifreeze in the car last week (fiilled up to the add line). I put more in today because it was empty again. I let my car run for about 15 min and the antifreeze level did not go down and the car did not heat up. Just wondering what could be wrong.

The main problem with not heating is low coolant level. So, instead of filling up to the ADD line, why don't you fill it up to the MAX line. You may not have enough to begin with. That is probably why you have to fill up twice in a week.

Once you fill up to MAX line, let the engine run to normal temperature, and shut the engine off. Open your hood and listen for any "hissing" sound. You may have a leak that just hasn't surface. Also check the reservoir container to check if it is boiling.

Let us know.
