1999 Chevy Blazer oil pan removal

Is there a way to remove the oil pan without removing the engine completly out? May be remove the mounts and jack up the engine for clearance?
The mechanic wants 750.00 dollars to r and r the engine. Please advise. Thank you

No need to remove engine can be done as you say. If you want instruction click on site at bottom of reply and for $9.95 get all the 411 you need. Checkout "tip oil pan removal"
