Electrical problem
1999 Chevy Blazer Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a chevy blazer. After you shut off the engine everything is off. About a minute later the blue high beam indicator light comes on. If I don't use the car and it's left to sit, it will drain the battery in 3 days. I pull the DRL relay and the light stays on until I pull fuse #19. It operates the gas and temp gauge, speedometer, clock and shift indicator. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Hi:
It sounds like you have a short in the insturment panel. This could be very difficult to find. Therefore, I strongly recommend taking the vehicle to an auto electric specialist.

Let me know if I can be of further help.

Joe
