Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 180.00 miles

I have a 98 chevy blazer. The truck idles fine but when accelerating it chugs but never to the point of dying. It only chugs right before its about to shift and never in the lower end of the gear. I have replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter, distributor cap. I have taken it to my local shop twice and they cannot figure anything out. It wont show any codes at all and once the truck has been running/driving for about 30 minutes the problem completely stops and it accelerates like normal. Anyone out there with the same problem, please help me!

What is the fuel pressure? Have the engine hooked up to a scan machine that can observe the actions of the oxygen sensors, to determine if they are working properly. Your computer goes through a diagnostic sequence that takes around 20 to 30 minutes to compete. During this warm up time, certain sensors may not function properly for various reasons. The only way to determine what is wrong is to observe what the computer sees during the diagnosis sequence.

So you are saying that you think that the problem is an oxygen sensor? How many of those are located on my Blazer?

NO. I am saying to observe the oxygen sensors on a scanner to see if what they are doing! I am also asking you what the fuel pressure is. Proper diagnosis is a must! I you jump to conclusions, without proper testing, you will spend a lot of money and time fixing the problem.
