1995 Chevy Blazer Service Engine Code

My service engine light came on one day after I hit a pothole, Its now running rough at idle, but ok with power applied, I took the s-10 to auto zone to have the code read, after serveral attempts all they got was an error and it couldnt be read. Please help.

Your vehicle uses the OBD I style system, auto parts can only scan vehicles with the OBD II system ( 1996 and up). you can retrieve codes without a scanner by following directions below..
