Hey I have a 305 chevy engine and after sitting for about 24 hours I start it up and it starts to smoke allot of white smoke and a little bit of black as well but after about a min of running it stops and everything goes back to normal, so is this a big problem or do I need to make some adjustment to the engine. thanks from NYC

You can expect that during a very cold starts due to condensation if the engine is up to norm temperature and it continues you're burning coolant in the cylinders due to blown headgasket cracked head or block or you have an intake gasket leak
