My avalanche started running really bad missing and dying on me the other day. So I checked the codes and changed out the o2 sensors and it ran perfect for about 2 hours then it started again and it tripped a code P0101. So I checked the MAF and cleaned it. That did not help at all I can't find any vacuum leaks and I also changed the fuel filter. Please help. Thanks

Remove the duct to the throttle plate and take some choke cleaner and clean the throttle plate with the engine off. ALso there is a kind of large hole in the throttle plalce and spray in there as well. Clean both sides of the throttle plate and wipe stuff up if possible. Reassemble duct to throttle plate. Then look on duct and make sure there are no holes in the duct as this will effect the MAF. Then start the truck, it may be hard to start due to the throttle plate being cleaned. See if this helps. If not while idling if it will, take a screwdriver handle and bang the maf. If it effects it it may just be a bad maf
