My truck wont start when hot. If I turn the steering wheel, generally it will start. Sometimes it will require turnign the wheel a few different times.
I had the truck to the dealer, but as usual, this problem didn't show.
I drive to Fl fm MI a lot. This is noticed when stopping for gas. Pull in, do my bussiness, get in to get back underway and turn the ignition and click. Wrestle the wheel to a different spot and most of the time it starts. Sometimes, it takes more wrestling.
It is real puckering when in BFE, that this occurs! (@ 3am)

HI
If your getting a click then suspect starter solenoid or bad spot on armeture. To find out put test light on solenoid terminal turn key to start if it lights and hear click then it is starter time.
Hope this helps

I went to start my truck yesterday and it did not start on the first crank, just because it was so cold. I turned the key again, and everything went out. The only faint noise I heard was a faint clicking under the dash that lasted only a few seconds. I went out there this morning, remote entry worked, opened the door and lights came on, turned the key and it all went out, and will not do anything since then. I checked some fuses and they were all good. I do not know if any of the relays could be bad and cause this. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Have battery checked for condition including load test. Most places do for free sounds more like a battery problem.

About 3 months ago my truck lost power/acceloration while driving then completely died. I had the truck towed home and my husband replaced the fuel filter. It has run great since; until the other day. It did the same thing, I had it towed towed home and again my husband replaced the fuel filter. While looking in the fuel line he found what looks like either shards of wood or metal. The truck still won't start. It will turn over but dies right away like it still isn't getting any fuel.
What is wrong with my truck?

Sounds like the fuel pump is out. Do you hear it run when the key is cycled on? Use a manual gauge to see if it has any pressure, the tap (schrader valve) is on the fuel rail

I drove a long way, but still had 1/8 of gas in the tank. I woke up warmed the truck, went the store and no problems. Came out of the store, and it would not start. It would turn over fine, but would not fire up.

Went in the store, waited 5 min, went back out and it started. Drove down the road maybe 2 miles, and it died. It has not started since. Turns over, no starting.

It is below freezing here, and I did put fuel system de-icer as well as 5 more gallons of fuel.

Any ideas? Anyone think I just need to wait until it it warms up a bit?

I would test your fuel pressure and see where it is at. You may have a bad fuel pump.
