Just recently my brake and abs light has both come on at the same time. When it wants to, it'll both go away at the same time. It's been on and off for both lights a lot lately. What can be wrong? Bad solenoid, or sensor? Where and how can I fix that problem? No blown fuse, or leaks anywhere.

I believe you may have a chipped tone ring on one of your hubs, do you have a hard pedal then soft sometimes?

I forgot to mention that the mechanic gave me a code number that had to do something with the EMBC relay or something like that.
To answer your question, the brake does not go from soft to hard at all. Stays the same throughout the ride.

Go to autozone and have them scan your system for good measure, they can extract some trouble codes. Bring them to me. Theyll do it for free. The mechanic that your going to doesnt seem to be too clear on this.

I found out what that is, EBCM electronic brake control module. You have to get the specific codes for this, otherwise we wont know whats going on, there are too many possibilities with the ebcm.
