I had a large deer run into me back in September 2008. I had the Chev dealer rebuild the front end.

Then the fuel pump went, and they changed the fuel filter.

Then one month later I have 1,2,3, drive, neutral, and reverse.
It will not go into park.
The dash lights do not work.
Is my linkage hooped.
It drives very well, and has no funny engine sounds.

Now I cannot get the rear cargo door open.
I have tried lock-dicer, WD-40.
The key when tirned clockwise makes the lock sound, nothing when you try counter clock wise.

I do have to say that it runs very well in good old British Columbia snow.

thanks

Hi:
It sounds like the linkage is the problem. I recommend taking it back to the dealer who repaired the front end after the accident. Have them check to make sure something hasn't come undone. As far as the rear lock, you need to remove the door panel. It sounds like the linkage has come apart there too.
