I have a 2000 astro with 125000 miles on it when I apply the brakes the anti lock brake system starts operating during normal braking. It dosn't do this all the time. Seems to do it more when braking at slower speeds. Or almost at a stop thank you

Brake pedal pulsation during operation of the Anti-lock brake System is normal, however you are right that it should not engage during slow braking. I am no expert and you can get one to help you for a small donation, but I do have some ideas. Are you sure the vibration is the ABS or could it be your wheel bearings that are damaged or worn? Does it fell to be to one side? Could be your caliper not sliding properly due to improper installation or obstructions. Your disc may not be within secs. Inspect all the above. Is your ABS light on? It should come on for a few seconds when you start the car then go off. If it blinks you are in trouble and need to have a professional look at it.
