It first started with my stereo not turning off when I shut off my van, if I play with the ignition I can get it to turn off but just for a second or so. Next I lost my rear hatch release (the switch at the front of the van) can't use the key cause it hasn't worked in a while. Can't even get the key to go in at the back of the van. No sound at the back hatch when using the switch to open, rods are fine and move freely. When I push the switch for the back hatch it interfers with my stereo. Also if I remove the fuse for the stereo it still plays. Van starts with no problems, runs a little rough, but always has. Altenator and belt was replaced, due to seizeing, but radio problems were happening before this, back hatch went after the altenator change and I mean like two weeks later. I have the Haynes manual but not much in there for troubleshooting electrical.

For the radio, I'm not sure which fuse you pulled? Was it ignition feed, the circuit goes hot in acc or run? Maybe a problem with the ignition switch? Yellow wire at radio.

I'd have to get at the rear hatch release and check for B+ and ground.
