My radio clock light is suddenly staying on and my rear ac/heat blower has suddenly stopped working, although it came on for a second on high today and then quit right away.

Normally when I turn off my ignition and remove my key, the radio display goes dark and if I want to see the time I press the power button and it lights up for a few seconds.

I'm thinking I have some type of short or ground out somewhere and don't know where to start.

I'm also looking for instructions on how to remove the radio to replace it with another that has a working cassette unit.

Thanks for all your help with my questions.

Those are 2 seperate problems. To remove the radio you must remove the face plate trim around it. It will pull out from the top and there will be 7 mm screws on the bottom, it is fairly easy to do once you remove the screws. On the rear blower, I think you will find that the motor is no good, to tell for sure check for power and ground at the motor when its on high, if ok then the motor is no good. Also if you hit the blower when its on high it will usually pop back on again temporqarily if its no good.
