Check engine light will not turn off

Drove to work yesterday temperature outside was -30 ran just fine, sat for an eight hour shift, I started it and then the check engine light came on.

It's fairly straight forward to find out why your Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) came on. You need to hook a code reader to your car. If you don't have a code reader you can go to your local parts store and they should be able to read it for you. I have included some information on what you need to do if you are retrieving the DTC yourself. Let us know what you find out and we can go from there.
