Carburetor to transmission

I need a schematic or picture of how the carburetor is connected to itself and the transmission, the manual I have is no help at all, the engine is a 429 v8 with a c6 transmission, please help, thank you!

We don't have that pic, normally the trans linkage is connected to bottom a nd accelerator to top but depending on how the cable or linkage works it can go either way. If you could send a pic back with linkage I could probably help.

Will send a picture as soon as possible, and I know where the linkage connects to the carburetor, but what I am having difficulties with is where the spring for it connects.

You may be missing a piece for the spring they either bolt to the base of carb orthe intake manifold. It's been a while for me to remember stuff like that. Make sure to try to take apic of bracketry If you have anylike at the back of carb.
