Along with other problems that started right after trying to jump battery. Electrical problems! The car was working just fine as I drove it everyday before battery died, everything worked great. So I tried to jump my battery due to cold weather, and while doing so, a metal wrench accidentally touched the positive red cable and it sparked a couple times.

Now it won't turn over at all, no clicking, beeping, revving, nothing. I'm thinking something shorted out, maybe more than one thing. The key even felt different in the ignition right after, it's really loose when turning now or has no catch on anything when turning and no longer makes dinging sound when I put it in the on position. The dash lights stay on now without the key in the ignition, along with the radio and clock.

I bought a new battery, a new ign fuse which was blown, and a ignition switch which I put in and none of the problems changed at all. The car will not start or even attempt to start. What happened? What should I do? Please help, I have to get to work soon!

Check battery for condition including load test auto parts do for free. Check fuses underhood fuse box. Check what is pointed out in pic if yo have that as you didn't give any engine size.
