While driving on the expressway at approx. 60mph the oil light came on and the car died while in the flow of traffic. Very bad situation when all of a sudden a car cuts off on the expressway. Tried several times to restart car. Its started but only ran for a few seconds and cuts off. It just slowly dies and will not start back. Checked and even add a little oil but again can not get it to start. Turns over very strong as if it is about to start but just can't. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check fuel pressure and see if oil pressure switch is cutting fuel pump off, then if it is manually check oil pressure as it may be abad oil pressure switch. Pressure shold be 47-50 psi at idle w/o vacuum
