Hello,
My car steering is hard to rotate and the brake pedal is also hard. I tried to start the vehicle by cranking up, but it won't start. The battery is low and I jump started it, the vehicle started and as the steering was hard I parked my vehicle and didn't use it. The ABS, VSC off, brake lights are on. I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Sai

Can you check the serpentine belt? If it has failed it will not drive the steering pump which will make the steering hard.

I goofed on this one forgot about a bad belt make sure to replace the tensioner at same time of belt replacement as they are automatic tensioners and they lose tension and could destroy the new belt as well. Recommended replacement for both is 60,000 miles
