If the security light is blinking or on solid then we need to start with checking for codes. The reason is, there is something causing the theft system to think the vehicle is being stolen. Checking the codes, it should tell us what that issue is. Here are some guides that will help with this:

Basically when this system is active, everything will work in the vehicle except the ignition and/or fuel will be disabled so that the vehicle can't be started.

If you have a spare key that is programmed to the vehicle, let's try that to rule out a key issue.

If that doesn't work then we need to get the codes and go from there. Thanks
