Car shuts off

Based on your post, it could be a few things. I have a couple questions. If you keep your foot lightly on the gas, will it stay running? Is the check engine light on?

As I mentioned, there are several things which can cause this type of problem, low fuel pressure, vacuum leak, ignition problems, torque converter problems and the list goes on.
