My car loses power when accelerating especially when the air conditioner is on. Also it consumes gas a lot. Previous owner said he changed engine about nine months ago. What could be the problem? Scanned the car and it pulled these codes:
1. P0325
2. P0141
3. P0340

Good morning.

The 340 code is for the camshaft sensor. Either the sensor may be the issue or the timing belt may have too much play and the timing is off enough to set a code. The belt needs to be checked to be sure.
The 141 is a heater circuit failure for one of the oxygen sensors. It is one of the upstream sensors.
325 is a knock sensor code. I would not address this until the 340 code is resolved. The two can be related
