Early in the morning the battery always runs down and the car cannot start. I have to take a fresh battery to start the car. Once the car starts and the old battery is reinstalled, it starts throughout the day. But the next morning it runs down again and we have to do the same process.
I bought a new battery thinking it is a battery problem but once I don't start the car for 3 days the battery runs down again. What is the solution?

Hi,

You must have a parasitic electrical draw that is causing a drain on the battery at all times. The easiest thing to do is to check the voltage draw at the battery and then remove one fuse at a time until the draw stops. Then you will know the circuit.

Regardless, take a look through this link and see if it helps. It discusses the most common causes of this type of issue.

Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
