Hello, I purchased an Audi that had a bad oil leak. I took it in to get fixed, but it is still not fixed totally. However, I got the car back with the check engine light on with a code po346. I’ve never seen this code until I got the car back. I changed six sensors still the same issue. So, a friend of mine said it could be that the harness was put back wrong. I spent $2,300.00 chasing an oil leak only to cause me more with this issue.

Hello,

This code can get triggered due to a wiring issue to the camshaft sensor. It can happen if the ECM is not getting the proper signal from the camshaft sensor.

You will need to start by checking the harness for the sensor.
I have attached the diagnostic procedure for the code P0346 below. Follow those steps as it can help you determine the issue.

Let me know what you find or if you have any questions.
Thank you.
