2001 Cadillac STS Right cornering light stays on

A simple circuit for cornering lamps. Fused power goes to the turn signal switch. Two wires, one orange for left cornering, and black for right, leave the switch and power the bulbs. Both circuits share a common ground. My feeling is you have a shorted turn signal switch. If you had the black wire shorted to power, it would not go out when the left is activated.
