1997 Cadillac STS Dash Lights and Head Lights go out

At night, almost at the very same place while driving home, both my headlights and dash lights go out.

I can turn my headlights on manual, but no dashlights

I also have a 97 STS and the automatic head lights go out when I get to street lights. I can turn the lights on with the switch but the dash lights do not work at that point. It's as if the light sensor is getting weak. Did you get any response from your simular question?
