Transfer Case Assembly Replacement
Removal Procedure
Drain the transfer case fluid, if necessary. Refer to Transfer Case Fluid Replacement.
Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement.
Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement.

Support the transmission with a suitable screw jack and a block of wood.
Remove the transmission mount-to-body bolts.
Using the jack, lower the transmission enough to access the transmission mount-to-transfer case mounting bolts.

Remove the transmission mount-to-transmission case mounting bolts.
Remove the transmission mount assembly from the vehicle.
Remove the front propeller shaft. Refer to Front Propeller Shaft Replacement.

With the info I have, the case is approx $1600 with approx 4 hrs labor at shop rate. That will put you in the $2000 range.
