2001 Cadillac SLS

I have recently changed the battery on my cadiallac. It started a few times but, now won't start. It doesn't appear to be a battery issue any longer but, wonder if there is something with the security system? Has anyone had a similar issue as this. If so is there an easy fix?

Does it crank? If it does not crank, are there any messages? If there is no crank, and no messages, it would be advised to check the signal to the starter. There is a connector at the front of the rear bank cylinder head, that has wires leading under the intake. This large purple wire is your starter signal wire. With it disconnected, and a test light to ground, you can see if the test light illuminates at start position. If so, you need a starter.
