Has anyone w/ 2000 Seville SLS, 4.6L tried to install a Tornando air system? Their website suggested a KI85, but this is too small. It also looks like my Mass Air Sensor won't allow this picticular item to be installed. It has a plastic guard to protect its sensor on the throttle side. I tried calling their tech service, now they want me remeasure. My thing is. Why did they suggest this size if it does'nt fit. I can't be the first Caddy man to ask for one. This product been around for years. Oh, while I have you attention, what is that plastic box (that's as close as I can describe it) connected at the top air intake. Can I remove that?

No. I installed a K&N filter a couple of months ago. But, connected to the filter box is the MAF sensor. This slides into the intake. On top of that tube btw MAf and the throttle, there's a flat box-like compartment that flows into the air intake. It's a closed compartment. The only hole the 2 1/2" diameter (approx)connection to the intake.
