1997 Other Cadillac Models head gasket

I want to know can I trust a 97 caddy will no longer need repairs after having the heads repaired. I have heard the Northstar motor is no good. Can I get an honest opinion. Do u see these vehicles needing alot of care?

Northstar motors seem to use a lot of oil, like a quart every oil change is normal. The only other thing to watch out for is not mixing the antifreeze any stronger thatn 50/50 as it causes some problems internally. But they can be fixed.
