1994 Other Cadillac Models
Electrical problem
1994 Other Cadillac Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 173,00 miles
all new tune-up parts,dist,cap,plugs,wires etc. car won't run. sometime run all day no problem, next day or any time shut off like engine turned off with key,won't start right after shuts off, come back later it starts,drive a few blocks shut off again. It have irregular pattern to run.94 caddy fleetwood 5.7 rear wheel drive.

When it won't run, try and identify what is lost. With the randomness, I would not suspect a fuel pump, but control could be possible. Pull a plug wire, create a gap to a ground and check for spark. It sounds more like an ignition module type fault. When it won't start, shoot some starter fluid or carb cleaner down the throat and see if it tries to fire. If not, you lost spark.
