The "service engine soon" light is on. I recently had a diagnostic test which resulted in the ignition module being replace. At times when I step on the accelerator, the car moves forward sluggish. The coolant temperature also rises to about 221 degrees. I need help badly.

Would need the exact code retrieved from your cars computer to be able to help with that. As far as being sluggish, that could be a number of things. The code may help diagnose this.

221 degrees is semi-normal for any vehicle with electric cooling fans. The fans usually come on somewhere aroung 228 degrees, then stay on until the coolant is cooled to approximately 212 degrees, then the fan(s) cut off. The cycle continues.

I believe Autozone will scan your computer for free to give you codes. Then they will give you a printout of what is needed and try to sell you the parts.
