When there's a service engine soon light, what should the service consist of?

Your cars computer will have to be scanned with a scan tool to retrieve the diagnostic trouble codes that set the light off, to determine what emmission/engine/electrical circuit problem needs to be addressed and repaired.

Pressing off and warmer on the climat panel will enter diagnostics and display all codes. With the key on, press and hold until segments light, and release. The codes will display on the info center. Reply to post with the codes, and we can offer further guidance.
