1984 Cadillac Sedan Deville 4.1

I have a 1984 cadillac sedan deville with the 4.1 motor. It has 82, xxx miles. It hesitates when I begin to accelerate. Once I get past the initial hesitation it runs great. Threw a throttle position sensor code so I replaced it. It still hesitates. I dont want to just throw parts at it and I don't know much about cadillacs. Can you help? Thanks

If your still checking, I don't normally cruise Caddy, but if you got a TPS code then I would guess the throttle shaft is worn.
