just installed IAC Valve ran for a day & half went to start and will not start, tested, fuel only at 50% is
the fuel pump bad?

Your fuel pressure is low-if its a 3.8L engine

K and 1 is the 8 digit of the VIN no.S, which VIN?

VIN K 53-59psi

VIN 1 48-54psi

Installed new IAC VALVE 2002 buick regal ran for a while then will only run with foot on gas pedal let up on pedal and dies out. Installed new fuel pump got started ran rough but doing the same thing as when changed the IAC Valve can't get to stay running. Like something is wrong with the idle.

Did you clean out the IACV passages? Also might want to clean out the EGR valve and see what happens.

Got it fixed. Was the fuel pump all along removed the new IAC Valve and it was stuck open.
